You're carrying something heavy
Grief. Addiction. A marriage that ended. A diagnosis. Something you haven’t said out loud in a long time.
Church has hurt you before
You left a place that wounded you, and you’re not sure you want to risk it again. That’s a reasonable way to feel.
You're curious, not committed
You don’t know what you believe. Nobody here will ask you to decide today.
You've been told you're too much
Too broken, too far gone, too complicated. You were told wrong.
What to expect
Here's exactly what happens when you show up.
Nobody will single you out
It’s a living room, so someone will say hello. That’s as far as it goes. No standing up, no introductions, nobody asking you to pray out loud.
Wear whatever you wore yesterday
There’s no dress code and never has been. Most people are in jeans.
You'll be done by 11:00
We start at 10:00 and finish at 11:00. There’s coffee. Kids have their own space in the house, or they can stay with you.

Healing
Your wound is not what disqualifies you from this community. It’s precisely what brought you here, and it’s safe in this room.
Hope
Not the kind that looks away from the hard thing. The kind that looks straight at it and says it isn’t the whole story.
Purpose
You are not only someone who needs care. What you’ve survived is something this room needs.
Hurt gets handed down. So can healing. Somebody just has to go first.

During the week
Sunday is the easiest place to start. There are two smaller rooms, too.
Both are small, both are honest, and you can come once without signing up for anything.
Tuesdays
Men's group
6:00 pm · Starbucks on Kort Street
A table, some coffee, and an honest conversation about what’s actually going on. You don’t have to talk the first time.
Every other Wednesday
Ladies' group
Food at 6:30 pm · conversation at 7:00 pm
Finger food first, then a conversation that’s allowed to be real. It meets at the house on Strawberry Lane.
Come once. Listen. Leave whenever you need to.
The door doesn’t ask anything of you.
